Charlie
Yesterday I watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with the kids. It was a wonderful show, colourful, creative, entertaining. It was great to see Roald Dahl's book turned into a movie though they added stuff and took away some. For instance, there was no mention of Willy Wonka's father in the book, in the movie there was. In the movie one parent accompanied each child, in the book two parents chaperoned each child except for Charlie who only had Grandpa Joe. The movie turned Willy Wonka into a cold, enigmatic character, the book's Wonka was jovial and lively. Still, it was an entertaining show with morals dished out in the most delectable way. Get the book for your children to read.
