The world's greatest babysitter

Tv? No. Computer? No. Grandparents? No.

It's SCHOOL. Why is it the world's greatest babysitter?

  1. Schools take children in for six hours a day at a nominal cost.
  2. They give the children an education.
  3. They provide a safe environment for the children to interact with peers and superiors.
I remember a Kee's cartoon which showed parents rejoicing when they left for school while the teachers' face were papaya-long. Come school holidays, the role is reversed. Teachers cheered while parents sulked.

There are four children in my home now. No, I'm not sulking. Neither am I jumping for joy.
