The family was standing at the porch, waiting for me to unlock the front door so everyone could go in.
No. 3 : So-and-so* died, you know.
No. 1 : Aaaaahhh....
I : Why you tell?
No. 3 : Don't worry. He -- -- --*.
No. 1 : AAAAHHHHH..... (smacked his brother on the shoulder.)
No. 3 cried. He'd just heard from his friend about this character's demise in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. The word 'Spoiler' is not in his vocabulary.

It was Mother's Day. I was supposed to meet husband and little one at Shopping centre. As I arrived, youngest gave sheepish smile, "Am not supposed to tell you cos its a surpise but we bought u mother's day present!" He got daggers from the older siblings!
Kak Teh, if there's anything you want to be broadcasted, tell it to the young ones, surely word will get around.
Thanks, Jane. Hope they prepare you for the day when you'd be doing the same too.
where do you get those cute images, Lydia?
hahahah my no 3 also 'surprise breaker'. His older sister esp no 1 marah betul when he spoiled the surprise, but then you know..I think he got it from me ! I spoiled my own surprise for my husband after repeatedly telling them not to let the cat out of the bag....Haiyaaa! *tepuk dahi* heheheheh
Nadia, If we tell the kids, "don't tell ah," all the more they want to tell. Maybe we should use some reverse pschology :)
Re : cute images. Google can give you anything you want. Just type in FREE CLIPART KEYWORD (whatever it is you're searching for) and ceng ceng ceng ceng, a long list of sites for you to choose from. This is quite a good site too - http://www.fotosearch.com/ - just key in the item you're searching for. Have fun.
