This is it

Okay. I've decided to stick with Blogger. Thanks to everyone who has given me their comments. Wordpress seems to be a very powerful blogging tool, so full of oomph that I'm afraid it'll take me too much time to fiddle around with. This isn't good for me as I'm already spending too much time blogging when I should be BIC (butt-in-chair) spinning that yarn which I've started last year and still mucking around with, not sure where I'm headed.

I can be so fickle, sigh. Wordpress or Blogger. This slant or that angle. I need a huge dose of inspiration. I'd been moaning to a couple of you bloggers about this yarn and I'm sure you're fed up of it already, so I'll just whine to the world at large. I woke up this morning thinking that I need to rework the story, yet again. So I fished out The Weekend Novelist to have a look at that story arc again. Back to the drawing board again. I've gone back so many times but maybe it's because I didn't go all the way that I'm stuck.

Hats off to those writers who don't hem and haw. They just do it. Should take a leaf from their books.

JUST DO IT and quit whining!

Lydia, I am one of those who hem and haw, dozens of trips to the kitchen, dozen cups of coffee - and all that before the intro! I so know what you mean!
but i think blogging helps too...it helps to ease the flow.
OK JUST DO IT! and quit whining!

Hear, hear, Kak Teh. We should set up The Hem & Haw Writers Club to compare notes and give each other a kick every now and then. Anyone else interested? The fast writers are gonna think, "you guys are pathetic!"

Oooh! I'm slow too! Can I join? HAHA. Then again, I'm not much of a writer.. haha. I was in bed last night with a pen and a notepad. I wanted to write down the few points in my head so that I can blog about it this morning. Stared at the notepad for a while, went to brush my teeth, drank milk in the kitchen, applied moisturiser on my face, came back looked at empty notepad once more, started doodling and woke up this morning at 8am when the alarm rang. On my notepad? Just one bullet point which I left hanging.

Doreen, looks like you're qualified to join The Hem & Haw Writers Club. Welcome! But please arm yourself with some armour for protection first ok?

Too much banging on the keyboard ...sorry.

If I only berangan to be a writer, can I join too? The hem & haw part is already second nature to me! The ideas stay in the head most of the time .... somewhere between the writing/typing, they dissipate due to too much hemming and hawing.

Oh, good Lydia, we have got recruits for the Hem & Haw Writers Club! Will recruit more and once we have enough, we can join up the unfinished sentences, the hanging phrases, the transiting ideas and end up with doreen's bullet point!

LOL, blogging is like a good enema! OK, ok, going back to my own blog to explain further.

5xmom are you the same L from mymomsbest? If so, i have something to 'share' with you.

Queen, you're most welcome! Yes, 5xmom is that L from mmb.

Kak Teh, spread the word around and maybe we can come up with some guidelines for H&H?

5xmom, that's something fresh (not in the literal sense since you talking about enema!)
